THE FORWARD TO SEA STORIES II |
| This is a second attempt to record for my family the tales that they have all
heard at least once. As I get older I remember the details of my life and think that it is possible that my family
will want to recall some of the things that have happened to me in the years that I have lived. There is a strong possibility that this book will end up in a bookcase and remain there for years to come. If that be the case, there will be others taht will read and wonder about the author. It has been my wish that I knew more about my grandparents and what they endured during their lives. It was a different time for them and things were also different. It would be nice to have heard more of their experiences of life so that I shoudl know them and what they did. They were probably just too busy making their way through life to record much of it. I must confess that my desire for knowledge came to me in my later years after they were gone. It will, more than likely, be the same for my heirs. This collection of tales follows the same format of the previous book. Someday the two should be in one volume and in chronological order. But then the fun of trying to figure out what happened and when would be removed from the thought process of those who read these stories. Some license has been taken to make the stories more enjoyable. However, not too much. All are based on fact. May your hours spent with me in reading this be fun. That was my intent. -Glen Stinson |
