On October 4th, 2008 the members of Jotun's Bane Kindred and invited Friends of the Kindred gathered at a Nordic Fest held near Lawrence, KS. We enjoy getting out on Kindred field-trips of this sort...especially ones we think the kids will enjoy. Lance and Zane (back of his head), checking out the booths at the Nordic Fest.
Bodhi, Zane, Lance, and Will. There were traditional craft, food, and other sorts of booths in the exhibition hall.
Lance and Nathan, signing up for a drawing of some sort. Cheri pushing a stroller in the background.
Danny, from Topeka, and his daughter and sister.
These Viking gentlemen were there to demonstrate combat skills. We could not get any of the kids to pose with them. LOL.
Joshua, Nathan, and Elizabeth enjoying some almond-flavored Scandinavian desserts.
Elizabeth, Bodhi, and Joshua.
Joshua was enjoying himself quite a bit...

Cheri's son takes a turn as well.

An action-shot of a kubb being knocked over by a throwing baton.
Will and Adam team up for a Kubb match.
As a Kindred, we bid in a silent auction on a beautiful book...and ended up winning it!
